Recalls: Adventure Wooden Playsets & Children's Over The Counter Medicine



  • Adventure Playsets Wooden Swing Sets: 
    • Approximately 240,000 wooden swing sets have been recalled because the wood in the posts of the fort sections on the swing sets can weaken due to rotting, posing a fall hazard.
    • The sets were sold under the following names:
      •  Bellevue
      • Bellevue II
      • Belmont
      • Durango
      • Durango II
      • Sedona
      • Tacoma
      • Tacoma II
      • Ventura
      • Venture II
      • Yukon
    • Sold at:
      • Academy Sports
      • Mills
      • Menards
      • Toys-R-Us
      • Walmart. 
      • The units sold for $300-$600.
    • Remedy:  Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled swing sets and contact Adventure Playsets to obtain a free repair kit. Repair kits will include the appropriate angled or vertical upright posts for each model with instructions for dissembling and reassembling each set.

  • Rugby Children's Pain & Fever Concentrated Drops:
    • About 898,000 bottles of Rugby Children's Pain & Fever Concentrated Drops have been recalled because a child can access the medicine easily, posing serious health problems or death if more than the recommended dosage is consumed.
    • The UPC code 305361936723 can be found with the bar code at the bottom of the box.
    • Sold at:
      •  Drug stores
      • Grocery stores
      • Other retailers nationwide between January 2009 and June 2011
      • Retailed for about $4
    • Remedy:
      • Consumers should immediately store this product with the child-resistant closure in place and keep it out of the reach of children.
