It's never too early to start building your children's library! Before my daughter was even born I was already collecting books whenever I would run across a good deal. I truly believe it's good to start instilling good reading habits in children as early as possible, by letting them read early in their childhood.
Issa over at Issa Sarza: Creative Living has created a great list of the top 10 children's books (ages 0-12) and even threw in some adorable free printable book plates you can use to label all of those books you will be collecting!
Top 10 Best Children's Books:
- Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney
- The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise
- Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown
- The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
- The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg
- The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss
- Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak
- Stellaluna by Janell Cannon
- The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss
Free Printable Book Plates:
"To use the book plates, print them on an A4 size sticker paper (satin finish works best) and cut along the black border of each book plate. Stick these onto your children’s books and enjoy!"
