How Can We Help the Tornado Victims in Joplin, MO.?

 

Yesterday at 6pm CST a Massive Tornado hit the center of Joplin, Mo.  With just minutes to prepare once the storm was spotted, many, many residents are now left without shelter, much less the bare necessities.   

One of the largest needs right now in the Joplin area is for toiletries, First Aid supplies and so much more.  This is a great time to clean out your stockpiles and send some of those items to those who really need it the most!

How Can We Help?

• Give Blood:  
• You can contact the Red Cross to find a location near you.  There will be an urgent need over the next few days, but it will also continue to be a need over the next few weeks.
• Donate Money: 
• You can give to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund at www.RedCross.org.  You can also text ‘REDCROSS’ to 90999 to donate $10.  

I know many local churches & ministries will begin collecting donations for the victims.  As soon as I get the appropriate addresses, I will update this post.
