How to Shop & Save at Rite Aid

Rite Aid has 3 different loyalty/rewards programs.   First, there is a basic rebate system called Single Check Rebates that gives you a certain amount back on select items.  There is also the Wellness+ program that earns you points that can be redeemed for percent off coupons.  And finally, there is the +UP rewards program. +UP rewards are Rite Aid currency (much like CVS' ECB's & Walgreen's RR's) that can be used in addition to manufacturers coupons.  Here is a breakdown of Rite Aid's loyalty programs & their coupon policy.

Single Check Rebates (SCR):
  • Each month, Rite Aid offers rebates on certain items when you purchase them.
    • In their weekly ad, they identify the products attached to rebates by listing it as "$3 SCR"-which means you would receive a $3 rebate if you purchase that item.
  •  The great part about this program is you will receive the full amount of the rebate even if you use manufacturers coupons when you purchase it!
    • For example:
      • You Buy Clean & Clearn Face Wash, $3 which gives you a $3 SCR
      • Use $1/1 manufacturers coupon
      • Pay $2 in the store
      • Receive $3 SCR by mail (which means you made $1 profit)
  • Rebates usually have a limit of one per item. Make sure you read the weekly flyer closely.
  • To submit for your rebate:
    • Go to Rite Aid’s website at the end of the month
    • Click on the link for 'Single Check Rebates'
    • Login to your account
    • Click to enter a receipt (the system will require a few numbers from your receipt)
    • Click to save it
    • Every time you shop throughout the month, enter your receipt online.
    • At the end of the month, go to back to Rite Aid’s site , log in & click to submit your rebates to get your check. They give you a 30 day window after the month ends to ask for your check.
    • After you submit for the check, it will usually take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. (It will say "Use at Rite Aid" across the bottom of the check, but it is a regular check and can be cashed or deposited at your local bank)

 Wellness+ Program:
  • You will need a Wellness+ card in order to receive some sale prices, earn +UP rewards & to keep track of your spending (so you can eventually receive 20% off entire purchase couons).
  • Earn 1 point for every dollar spent on non-prescription purchases.
  • Earn 25 points for every prescription you purchase.
  • As you earn more points, you earn more rewards:
    • For every 125 pts, you earn a 10% off shopping pass
    • For every 500 pts, you earn a 10% off all non-prescription purchases everyday & free health screenings
    • For every 1000 pts, you earn 20% off all non-prescription purchases everyday
+UP Rewards:
  • +UP Rewards can be used like cash at Rite Aid.  They are similar to Extra Care Bucks at CVS. When you buy participating products, +UP rewards are printed on your receipt that you can use on future purchases.
  • +UP Rewards can be rolled, which means you can use them to pay for the same items again and earn additional +UP rewards.  You could even use your +UP rewards to purchase items that would get you a Single Check Rebate.
  • +UP rewards are not coupons. You can use manufacturer coupons and any other store coupons along with them at checkout!
  • You can use as many +UP rewards on your transaction as you'd like, but the register will stop accepting them if they will make your subtotal (pre-tax total) negative.
