Ten Ways to Be Your Daughter's Daddy (or Mommy, I Suppose)...

I wrote a few weeks ago about a book I discovered called How to Be Your Daughter's Daddy: 365 Things to Do with Your Daughter.  I am just loving the little tips found in this book, so here is another excerpt from Dan Bolin's book (these tips can, of course, apply to mommies too):

  1. Help her to write a letter to the author of a book she really likes

  2. Buy her a single red rose and take her on a “date”.

  3. Send her a card or a letter the day before you go out of town, so that she will receive it right after you leave.

  4. Paint her fingernails and toes.

  5. Use a magnifying class together to look at all kinds of little things.

  6. Write a one-act play together, and perform it for the family.

  7. Take her to visit the grade school you attended.

  8. Sing  in the car.

  9. Take her to the airport for lunch and watch the airplanes land.

  10. Send an “I love you” note in her lunchbox.

Enjoy!!
