DIY: Frugal Halloween Wreath Idea (EASY!)

I just pulled out my Fall decor today & decided I'd love to add a few items specifically for Halloween . However, I don't want to spend a lot.  So, when I ran across this post on Something To Do  , I was excited!  I love this frugal Halloween wreath idea because it is truly CHEAP and EASY! No sewing, no gluing, no experience with floral arrangements!  Although I'm not a pro in the craft department, this is something even I can do!

Here's the tutorial on how to make this cute Tulle Halloween Wreath, from Something To Do :

What You'll Need:
  • Approximately 12 yards of tulle (You can use any color. You should be able to find the tulle for about $1 at any craft store-check the clearance area)
  • 1 Metal Embroidery Hoop (if you can't find/don't have an embroidery hoop, you can use any ring that's about the same size)
  • Satin Ribbon (choose the color based on what color tulle you use)
Directions:

  • Cut tulle and tie it around the metal embroidery hoop
  • Add the satin ribbon
  • Hang it up!
This wreath would look great hanging over a mirror or on any door in your home {I'd suggest NOT hanging it outside, as tulle would not withstand the elements very well}.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the great pictures & tutorial, Something To Do !
