Gift Cards For A Cause: Support Your Favorite Charities With Virtually No Out-of-Pocket Expense

I've mentioned before how one of the best things about living frugally & saving money on everyday items is the ability it gives us to donate freely to those in need.  My friend Melissa introduced me to this wonderful program & I simply had to share!

Gift Cards For A Cause allows you to donate to your favorite non-profit organization on an on-going basis, with virtually no out-of-pocket expense. Use the gift cards that you purchase from GiftCardsForACause.com to make purchases that you would be making anyway (otherwise you would be paying for with cash or credit debit cards), such as groceries, dining out, etc.  The only difference is...You are also making a donation!!

 

How It Works:

• Choose the gift cards you would like to purchase.
• Choose the organization you would like your donation to go to from our list of more than 40 regional and national charities (or write-in your favorite if it's not listed).
• Your order will be shipped directly to you within 48 -72 hours (for in-stock items).
• Gift Cards For A Cause will make a donation to your chosen organization (the percentage of each donation varies depending on what gift cards you purchase)
• Once your order has been processed, Gift Cards For A Cause will send you a confirmation letter confirming the amount of the donation generated from your order and the organization chosen to receive the donation. Your confirmation will be sent within 72 hours of receipt of your order.

If you do not see your favorite organization on the list, you can still request your purchase donation be sent to the organization of your choice by writing-in the organization name when you check-out with your purchase.

Standard shipping (for orders up to $250) is $2.50.  Which means, by paying $2.50 more than you normally would on items that you would be purchasing anyway, you are guaranteeing a percentage of your purchases are given directly to your favorite charities! 

In the big scheme of things, this is a wonderful way to continuously donate to the organizations that are important to you & your family without really going out of the way. 

Shipping Policy

• All gift card orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS). Please allow 14 days from the date your order is shipped for standard delivery. See below for a full shipping schedule.
• Orders are shipped within 3-5 days of placing your order by our Standard shipping method. Expedited shipping is available for additional cost (see Shipping Schedule below)
• All orders are shipped complete. No partial orders will be shipped. If any item on your order is not in stock, your entire order will be held until all items become available for shipping.
• If an out-of-stock item does not become available within 10 days after placing your order, you will be notified by email and given the opportunity to continue to hold your order, exchange the out-of-stock item for another gift card, or cancel the out-of-stock item.
• If you do not receive your order within 21 days from the date your order was shipped, please contact customerservice@giftcardsforacause.com. Neither GiftCardsForACause.com nor any of its affiliates are responsible for orders not received due to incorrect address information provided on your order.
